GIPSS: Genetically Inspired Prognostic Scoring System for Primary Myelofibrosis

The genetically inspired prognostic scoring system (GIPSS) uses four tiers—low, intermediate-1, intermediate-2, and high—to score patients with primary myelofibrosis based on genetic factors. Researchers determined that its predictive accuracy is on par with that of MIPSS70-plus, one of the new mutation-enhanced international prognostic scoring systems for transplant-age patients.
